Shahzad Khan

Shahzad R. Khan is an accomplished Immigration Attorney. He has over 15-years of experience in the practice of law, including Employment Based and Family Based Immigration, domestic relations, estate planning, and corporate matters. He is experienced in civil litigation and an author of several published articles on Immigration and family law issues, and how these areas intersect. 

Moreover, Shahzad is well experienced and versed in the areas of Employment and Family Based Immigration. He has prepared and overseen the preparation of Employment Based Non-immigrant visas, including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN, and E-2 Petitions.  In addition he has prepared and overseen the preparation of Employment Based Immigrant Visa Process, including the preparation of the Permanent Labor Certification, I-140 Immigrant Petition, National Interest Waiver, EB-1A & C, EB-2, EB-3, and EB-4. Furthermore, he is well versed in Family Based Immigration, including Green Card Processing, Naturalization, Asylum, Fiancé visas, DACA, and Inadmissibility Waivers. He has represented individuals, small companies, medium sized companies and multinational corporations.

His work in Employment Based Immigration has lead to his experience in corporate related work. Shahzad has registered and created corporations, partnerships, and Limited Liability Companies for various individuals and professionals. He has prepared all documents associated with the governance of these entities, including bylaws, operating agreements, shareholders agreements and the like.

Moreover, Shahzad has prepared employment contracts, private placement memorandums and other business contracts for his clients. Shahzad is also well experienced in basic estate planning. He has prepared Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives and other such documents for his clients. Shahzad has a particular interest in Islamic Estate Planning, where he has prepared Shariah compliant Wills for his Muslim clients.

Shahzad moved back to Texas, his home state, in 2013 to be closer to family. Shahzad is married and has two daughters. His parents and a substantial amount of extended family reside in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. In his free time, Shahzad likes watching movies, working out and kickboxing, and spending time with his family.
